GOLD JEWELLERY

In response to the Government’s clarion call for adding value to the country's primary products, the company utilises some of its gold purchases for the production of jewellery.

The jewellery produced are designed in Ghana’s traditional adinkra symbols in the company’s Jewellery workshop at the Diamond House premises. Most of the jewellery produced are handcrafted, in 14KT, 18KT and 22KT.We also produce gold nuggets in 22-23KT.

However, the workshop has also been equipped with modern machinery to make the products up to international standards. Patronage of the company’s jewellery products are mainly by foreign tourist to the country.

The company also offers services such as:

• Ring sizing
• Retipping
• Tightening of claws
• Chain soldering
• Replacement of hooks, claws and stoppers.

It is the company’s plan to expand the jewellery production to be able to use greater proportion of its gold purchases and drastically reduce the exports of the gold in the raw form
